Are you a lacrosse player looking to get that stick in your hand? Are you a new player or thinking about playing? If so, this is the place to try it out. You do not have to be a Lockport resident or in the school district. Just come on out! Equipment is needed for some of the drills, if you do not have equipment, shoot me a message and we'd love to have you anyways. We may have equipment you can borrow for the practice or we will at least have a stick and a coach can work with you one on one. Contact us via the "contact us" ballon.
We understand equipment can be expensive to purchase all at once. Lockport Lacrosse Association offers an equipment purchase program where you can purchase either used or new equipment if you are a current member of our association and we will set you up with a payment plan. Please contact us via the "contact us" ballon for more info.

Lockport Lacrosse Association was founded in 2021 to provide an opportunity for players to be introduced to the game of Lacrosse and help develop players at all levels in a fun and friendly environment.
Winning is not always the only thing. We will promote good sportsmanship on and off the field. Our goal is to build players that will play together not only as teammates, but as friends.
Our coaches and staff are all volunteers as we are a non profit organization. Made up of local coaches and parents to make clinics and practices fun and exciting in a no pressure environment.
I am just a Dad with no lacrosse experience but has a son who LOVES the game. I founded the Lockport Lacrosse Association back in 2021 as I recognized the need for our youth to be able to play year round to develop our players to be competitive at the high school level. My goal was to start a grass roots campaign to help grow the sport and help kids get to that next level. My background is in ice hockey playing through college. I then became a referee where I worked my way from youth to D3 and D1 college. Currently, I am a volunteer for USA Hockey on the training staff of officials and I serve as a supervisor of officials for NY State Amateur Hockey. I train and supervise officials and am proud to say that many of the officials I have worked with are now working at the collegiate level, Semi pro level, AHL, NHL, IIHF, and the Olympics. I am also a US Navy Veteran spending 8 years in the Reserves and was proudly called up to active duty after 9/11. When I am not driving my son to tournaments for box or field lacrosse, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 18 years, smoking a fine cigar, and snuggling my two chihuahuas and american Pit Bull Terrier. If your child has the drive, we can work with them on the field to get them to that next level.
My name is Christopher Graziano and I am a physical education teacher at Roy B. Kelley Elementary School right here in Lockport. This is my sixth year there and I am going into my eighth season as a lacrosse coach within the Lockport City School District. I am a Lockport graduate myself and I played five seasons of lacrosse from 2008 until 2012 when I graduated. I attended SUNY Brockport and earned a Bachelor’s degree in physical education there, as well as a Master’s degree in health education. I started coaching modified girls lacrosse for one season and then moved on to boy’s junior varsity where I coached that for four seasons. I am now currently going into my third season as the head coach of the Varsity boy’s lacrosse team here in Lockport. Working with our youth is my passion and I truly love and value being able to work with such a wide range of student athletes within our community. During my free time I love to get outside as much as I can. Fishing and kayaking are my main two hobbies, but I also love to get out and play a round of golf or disc golf. Go Bills and go Bandits!
My name is Tyler Stickney, I started playing organized lacrosse in 2010 at Lockport high school starting as a close defender and moving to an LSM role For the JV team. I was moved up to varsity at the end of my sophomore year and played as both a Long stick and short stick midfielder earning a spot as a team captain my senior year. Upon graduation I joined the US Navy serving as an Electronics Technician from 2014-2022, During my time in I earned qualifications as a Visit Board Search and Seizure Team Member as well as a Surface Search and Rescue Swimmer. When I returned to Lockport at the end of my active duty time I reached out to Guy Bax to try and become a coach for the organization as I wanted to give back to my community and I thought what better way to do that than to teach kids the game I love. It turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I am so happy to be able to share my knowledge and passion for the sport. When I am not Coaching, I am either playing Lacrosse in a local men's league or spending time with my Wife Cayleigh and my Daughter Luna.
I grew up playing lacrosse in the '90's in CT and I have been hooked on the sport ever since. I played HS lacrosse for St. Joe's High School in Trumbull and attended camps at Brown University and Maryland every summer. I went on to play collegiate lax at St. Bonaventure from '96-98 at the club level before they had a D1 program. I graduated from Bonaventure with an academic excellence award in Visual Arts, a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts and a minor in Marketing. I still play whenever and wherever I can. I was fortunate to play in two Lacrosse All Star North American Invitational semi pro box tournaments in 2018 and 2019 and I also play with the Buffalo Bandits fan team the Brigade and I love getting on the field for Shoot Out for Soldiers when I can. I currently work for an insurance company as a lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer. When I am not on a field or playing box, I enjoy playing the guitar, snowboarding, and building things in my backyard with my son like ziplines and tree forts. Oh and did I mention I love stringing? You can reach me on instagram @lockportstringdoctor for all your stringing needs.
Nick has been around the Lockport Lacrosse community since he played in highschool from 2010-2014. Nick started playing attack and switched to goalie in his sophomore year where he found a significant love for the sport. He continued to play through his senior year and even became captain of his team. Additionally, Nick played at NCCC during their last year as an organization and even led his league in saves. Nick continues to play in a men's league that goes throughout the year as well as many pick up games as he can make.
Since graduating, Nick has helped with the varsity program sharing wisdom as well as tips and tricks, especially for the goalies within the program, but will also help the other positions. He wants to promote a lifelong love of the game and build a reputation for Lockport lacrosse across the area.
Outside of lacrosse, Nick is a physical therapist and has been for 2 years. Aside from his position, he also is in an Athlete Performance Specialist program, with a focus on both lacrosse and swimming. He enjoys working out, lifting weights, and optimizing human performance. Aside from helping the lacrosse program, Nick also coaches a swim program within the area which takes most of his free time during fall and winter months leaving him open for lacrosse during their prime months.

Rock the same shooter shirt our players are wearing. Except for the number on the back of course. This Powell brand shirt is super comfy. I recommend ordering one size up, email us for details and sizing as well as payment options. A real steal at $25.00.
Check our team issue shorts! Again, without the number and super comfy. Maybe your player needs a second pair for practice or maybe Mom or Dad want a pair to represent in. $25.00. Email us to check sizes and payment options.
